ProArts, Mother's Day Concert, Opera in Victoria & more
ProArts: classics for piano, voice & cello
On February 22, cellist Jenny Crane, mezzo soprano Jeanine Williams and I will be featured in ProArts’ noon-hour concert series as a trio. We will present a programme of classics for Cello, Voice and Piano, which will include music by Bach, Brahms, Debussy, Saint-Saëns and more. If you’re in the downtown area, we’d love for you to join us at 12pm in the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer.
Born and raised in Alberta, we have all studied abroad and subsequently returned to our home province. We were connected through social media and were inspired to collaborate and share our mutual love for music with our community. We have organized and presented concerts of our own like Bach, Brahms and Bucking Broncos, and are currently in the process of preparing a showcase for Mother’s Day.
For today’s concert, we have prepared a programme of both recognizable classics as well as some less-common pieces that complement our instruments and their combinations.

Songs My Mother Taught Me
In celebration of Mother’s Day, Jeanine Williams and I will be presenting a recital comprised of music for mothers. We invite you to enjoy an early evening of classical music with your loved ones. Works by Copland, Grieg, Schubert, Brahms, Dvorak and more.

Opera in Victoria
Lauren Woods, Jeanine Williams and Adam Brousseau and I will be out West to present Rob Hunter’s Good Story at the Belfry Theatre in Victoria. In the Fall, we performed this work at The Grand in Calgary, working directly with the composer. The opera was very well received for its personal, honest and community-building spirit and we are excited to share it with a new audience.

Every Sunday at 7:30am I provide organ accompaniment to Sacred Heart’s Services. Every second Sunday I also accompany the 9:00am service, which also includes a choir.
